Nisha Valliere Talent & Brand Manager
Nisha is no stranger to the food industry. For years throughout high school and university, she’s worked various FOH (front of house) positions, from waitressing to expediting at a busy restaurant downtown. In an addition to her industry experience, in more recent years, she’s gained financial experience working at a bank, and valuable HR experience working with an international non-profit. She thanks her psychology degree from UofT for her excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Most importantly, Nisha’s passion for everything food (she especially loves to bake) makes her a perfect fit for the team! Favourite elle item: she can’t just pick one, but if she has to it would probably be our flourless chocolate torte with homemade mint & vanilla bean ice cream.

Lauren Mozer Owner, Executive Chef
Driven by her love of high-end cuisine Lauren created elle cuisine in 2010. While pursuing an undergraduate degree in anthropology at McGill, Lauren realized that her passion for food went beyond being just a hobby. Disenchanted by her experiences working in restaurant kitchens, Lauren realized that her talents would be best utilized in the world of private catering. In discovering her calling, Chef Lauren Mozer can do what she does best, and share it with others – Eat. Love. Live. Enjoy. With an increasing demand and word-of-mouth success, elle cuisine has evolved into a full-service personal chef, event catering, and corporate catering company, specializing in customized parties of all sizes. Lauren continues to challenge herself and expand upon her culinary techniques, treating her employees to delicious private dinners to test out future endeavours. One of the things that Lauren prides herself on most is the intimate atmosphere that an elle Cuisine experience can provide, as well as the bevy of return clients who have become a part of the elle family in their own way. Lauren's favourite elle creation is ever changing!

Currently a student of George browns baking and pastry arts program, Gabi comes to the kitchen daily with new ideas on how to expand upon elle's dessert menu. She trained at Flemming College in Culinary Management while finishing a dual co-op Culinary Apprenticeship. She’s worked in restaurants and catering companies across the city, training under various chefs from whom she’s learned extensive skills. When she joined the elle team, she was determined to spread the wise words of her grandmother: "food is like an art canvas: the ingredients are the mediums we use to create a dish which tell our story. The beauty in the presentation and flavor is what inspires the audience to pay more attention." Crystal’s favorite elle creation is the Jerk Prawns with a corn and avocado salsa.
